Enoch Micklewright, Age 29
Private, 56830, 2nd Battalion, Welsh Regiment.
Enoch was the youngest son of Joseph & Mary who lived at 66 The Finney, and had married Mary who he lived with at 15, The Finney, Lightmoor.
He had enlisted into the KSLI (No.22371) in 1916 prior to which he had worked at the Lightmoor brickworks. During his spell in France, he had been transferred to the Welsh regiment and it was whilst serving with this regiment that he met his death on May 5th 1918 after serving just less than 2 years in France.
Enoch lies buried in the Sailly-Labourse Communal Cemetery extension in grave G23.
